Public-source approach

Observe first. Let the owner decide what belongs to their record.

JobPost helps a person review public signals around the name and profession they enter. A public result does not become a fact, an identity match, or part of a published record simply because it appears.

Four separate source states

Candidate public source
A public result that may relate to a person or business. It is an observation, not proof.
Owner-submitted information
Information a person chooses to provide for a professional record.
User-declared relationship
A private owner statement that a source relates to them. It does not verify the external page or its claims.
Genuinely verified information
Information checked through a documented method that supports a specific claim.

Before any future corroboration layer

JobPost does not currently use automated corroboration to turn repeated websites into facts about a person or add third-party information to a published record. Any future layer must define evidence thresholds, notification before publication, human review, correction, dispute handling, retention, deletion, source provenance, review status, confirmation records, audit trails, and public labels before it goes live.
